I have talked to a few people lately and they have been having trouble with navigating around on the FCC website to fill out the application for their Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. Here is a link to a PDF that talks about the application (Link).
You will need to go to the FCC Universal Licensing page and register online to receive your FCC Registration Number (FRN) once you have this then you can log in and apply for your license. The form you need to fill out is Form 605 and pay $60.00 with your credit card. Once you have submitted the license it should arrive in about one week. At least that is how it went for me.
I hope this helps all those out their trying to get their FCC license, it took me about 3 hours surfing to get it accomplished. Take care and would like to hear comments if this help or what could be better.
